Pleasant people great view and cozy rooms
Here is the "Ceylon" room with it's "mountain & harbor" views. Lots of BETTER places to stay that are actually cheaper. Vacationer beware of this place! Look at the 1 & 2 star reviews!
Judging from recent reviews my observation of major slippage happening at this establishment is accurate. What is going on - stained carpets (like something out of a bad Motel 6 room), dinged up furniture, dirty bathroom, faint stains on sheets? Breakfast was okay - used to be better. The service fluctuates between bad and friendly but plastic, robotic. Dinner, plastic too, dishes served cold, too fussy and cheap. UGH! Major disappointment. We love driving up to Maine for a quick getaway. Time to try 16 Bay View.
Another go to hotel with a great Restaurant and Bar would highly recommend this a little pricey but worth it
