Great location overlooking a beautiful bay. Right of famous US-1. Very cozy and a "Snuggle Up Feel"!
Love the High Tide Inn. Curated are cozy and take my dog. Right by the water and nice walk down to the beach. Favorite part is the homemade popovers and muffins for breakfast.
And last but not least, Jo the Inn keeper is amazing, very friendly, professional. "She knows her stuff!" Thanks and we'll be back if we have the chance.
The view is breathtaking in the morning form your breakfast table, while you eat fresh made muffins and popover (coffee is also local and amazing!). We tried different accommodations. Nearly all of them have sea views.
Note : for families who may be wondering, it is probably not the main customer profile of this inn but our 2 years old daughter felt perfectly at home, and Jo made it easy.
Oceanfront cottages (reasonable)..BUT..the breakfast is to DIE FOR !! June outdoes herself when making HOMEMADE Muffins (many varieties..'OH THE YUMS!!!'.., Popovers.. (no need to travel to Acadia for these jewels)..fruit, eggs, juice, All served on a beautiful oceanfront patio..HIGHLIGHT of our trip
This inn was all the charm of the Camden sescoast anyone could ask for. The inn keepers were professional but made us feel like family. The cabin was nothing modern but we weren't looking for that. The view was amazing, grounds were gorgeous, and the breakfast was a delicious mixture of popovers and fresh muffins. We will definitely recommend it, and certainly return if we can.
Very nice place to stay one night... or one week ! We enjoyed it so much that we did both! On a road trip we just stopped by and came back later for a longer stay as we felt so good there.
It is not a "design trendy hotel" - it is not the point - but it is authentic : decoration makes you feel on the see shore (if you didn't catch the view from the window
